Chess training has changed a lot since we launched Chessable in 2016. Many features that were once new enhancements are now commonplace in chess training platforms.
We’ve reviewed the features of our PRO offering and found some of the features that make the most sense to offer for free to all users.
Starting today, the following PRO features are available for free to everyone:
- Custom parts and boards
- Alternative movement of modules
- Using Final Database
- Greater depth in the rover
- Unlimited position savings
- Advanced time planner
- Tracking difficult games
If you don’t know these functions yet, we will explain them below.
We understand that PRO members have paid for this feature. However, even after offering it for free, we think PRO’s offering is stronger than ever, with 30% off any course, anytime, and access to over 300 courses exclusive to PRO members.
We’ll continue to create exclusive content for PROs, like short, concise courses and free lessons. We will expand it even further: more lines, more videos and more chess.
This is what we want from PRO: access to exclusive content, special prices and unique features like Offline Mode, a feature that is not basic and that no chess site will offer in 2026.

PRO Features Now Available to All Users and How They Work
Back and forth motor movements
Now, each member can configure the number of lines displayed when using the machine, up to a maximum of 5. Previously, you could only see 1 without PRO.
Database calculations for final
Each member can activate the database for positions with 7 or less. The database will display the order of wins or draws for that position.
Greater depth of exploration
Stored position limits
Previously, basic members could only hold up to 20 positions. Now, anyone can save an unlimited number of positions.
Advanced time planner
All members now have an Advanced Time Planner widget on the right side of their dashboard, under the Daily Goals widget. This feature tracks how many moves you have to review and when, allowing you to manage your study load more effectively.
Tracking difficult movements
If you repeatedly mess up a step during a review session, it will be noted in your dashboard. Difficult moves will be removed from the list if you do them correctly a certain number of times (reaching level 6 in the spaced repetition program).
By clicking on the difficult movement icon, you can focus on the specific variation you need to practice.
PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
