Chessable’s NEW Repertoire Feature Transforms You from an Active Learner to an Architect of Your Chess Progress

Chessable’s identity has always been based on active learning: spaced reviews, video synchronization, and progress tracking. With the new Repertory feature, our platform expands. Now you can personalize your training and chart your own path to chess improvement.

Our new Repertoire feature allows you to add MoveTrainer variants or even entire chapters to your custom courses.

From here, things get even better:

Once a position or chapter is in your course, You can edit it freely…without changing the original direction.

Can:

Add clickable comments and variants your own analysis to deepen your understanding

Include alternative games not present in the original course

Change the row name or exercise, to suit your own naming system

Adjust key play to shorten or lengthen a trainable path

Add visual cues to learn more actively

Meanwhile, the original path remains intact. And if an update is released, you will receive it.

In short, Repertorio is the perfect solution…

…which allows you to customize training based on your learning habits and goals, while maintaining the quality you expect from published courses.

This new addition to Chessable gives you lots of ideas for improving your chess skills. Here are some:

Create your own elite opening repertoire

Let’s say you liked a sentence of a writer’s attack on Open Sicily.

But perhaps the same authors recommended an overly complex response to the less common Anti-Sicilian group. Since you won’t see them often, you’d prefer something simpler.

This is where the Repertoire feature stands out.

You can take other authors’ calmer and more positional answers to those secondary variants. And combine it with the first author’s main plot. This way you get a repertoire tailored to the time and effort you are willing to dedicate to it.

Explore in depth the areas of chess that interest you

Just as different chess pieces are connected to each other…

An opening leads to a particular structure, and that structure forms the end…

Different Chessable courses are also connected to each other, allowing you to deepen your understanding of the same topics from different angles. Take for example the London System, one of the most fashionable openings in modern chess.

You can master it better if you combine…

Chapters 2.8 to 2.10 of General Chess Treatise by Roberto Grau – Volume 2: Tactics and Strategy to understand Greek sacrifice, one of the fundamental themes of the London System, from the perspective of the position…

…Chapters 1 and 2 From Alfil Kamikaze to see right and wrong examples of the same sacrifice in action…

…and a Quick Guide London System Manual, where those ideas are mixed with theory and your opening repertoire choices over and over again.

The new Repertoire feature lets you do all this in just a few clicks!

Turn Play Models from Your Opening Repertoire into Trainable Drills

The best writers leave outside from the right opening line.

They also include model games to show you how to play the middle game and end game.

But most model games are informative, not trainable.

By studying one of them, you can identify one or two key moments that you want to practice.

Does not matter! Repertoire allows you to transfer games to your personal repertoire and turn them into practiceable exercises.

Now your repertoire not only teaches you how to get into good positions, but also what to do once you get there.

How to use Repertoire:

First, open the course for which you want to select lines or exercises.

(Do you want to add full chapters? Start from the main course view, where you will find a list of chapters. Just below the course title, you will see an “Add to Repertoire” button. Click on it and the next steps are similar to adding individual rows).

To add specific lines and exercises, go to the corresponding chapter.

Then, click “Add to Repertory” just below the video player. A check box will appear on each row or exercise.

Mark the ones you want.

Then, click “Add to Repertory” again (now blue).

A confirmation window will appear. Click Continue.

Next, select the course you created that you want to add. Select the chapter where they should go.

Click “Add variant” and you’re done!

If you haven’t created a custom course, you can also do that here. Just click the plus sign. Name your new repertoire and use it as the destination of the line you copy.

We want to hear your ideas

The repertoire represents a major advancement in Chess training.

You are no longer limited to taking the course as published. Now you can adapt your learning to your goals and the most effective way of learning.

And the examples we mentioned above are just the beginning. We’re confident the Chessable community will find smarter and more creative ways to adapt it.

Give it a try and let us know what you think.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
