Celebrate Shorecrest history on October 21 with the Shore to Shorecrest 5k run/walk from the School’s original location at 1200 North Shore Drive NE to the current campus. This family-friendly event launches the School’s second century, promoting health, wellness and the Chargers spirit. Shore to Shorecrest is sponsored by Woodie’s Wash Shack.
The race begins at Flora Wylie Park, winds along the water, continues through Coffee Pot Bayou, past the Crisp Boat Launch and up 1st Street N, concluding at Charger Commons on the current Shorecrest campus at 5101 1st Street NE. This is a flat course, friendly to first time runners, walkers, and families. Participants will receive a t-shirt and finisher medal. Just outside the finish line, participants and volunteers can enjoy a health and wellness fair, the Sparky Sprint for children 8 and under starting at 9:30am.

Neighborhoods along the course may experience intermittent road closures between 7am – 10am on race day, Saturday, October 21.
